Customer Service Associate
Shifts Required: 7AM-3PM//3PM-11PM///11PM-7AM//Weekend Availability
Position Overview:
Customer Service Associates report to Store Managers and are responsible for the daily duties in maintaining high levels of customer service through offering a clean, safe and friendly store. The essential functions of this position include:
Essential Functions:
- Customer Service and Satisfaction: Reports to work on time; assist customers with use of laundry cards, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, wash and fold orders and with any questions or concerns that arise; keeps store manager informed of any customer service issues they may need help with.
- Store Safety and Security: Follows all safe practices to prevent accidents and injuries to customers and employees; knows what to do in emergency situations such as fires, floods, and severe weather; maintains a safe environment inside and outside of the store.
- Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained inside and outside of the stores; informs store manager when janitorial items are running low, continually walks the floor picking up debris, emptying trash containers, checking bathrooms and performing other cleaning duties as required.
- Equipment Maintenance: Utilizes the log books to report any equipment maintenance issues; immediately informs store manager of unsafe situations that arise during a shift.
- Retail: Can accurately utilize the cash register or point of sale computer; has a thorough knowledge of the products sold and what they are used for; encourages customers to purchase additional items; ensures retail items are neatly stocked at all times if necessary.
- Wash and Fold: Provides a consistent, quality product to the customer; accurately and always utilizes log books; knows how to choose the right equipment for the amount of clothing; addresses customer concerns as best as possible; informs supervisor of any customer complaints or claims.
- Policies and Procedures: Follows all company policies and procedures.
Store Manager
The Store Manager is responsible for all of the attendants and the daily operations of the laundromat.
Essential Functions:
- Daily paperwork
- Hiring and firing of employees
- Must have management experience
- Manage, direct and supervise the daily operations of the store
- Scheduling of employees
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
- Ability to learn basic and deep cleaning methods and procedures
- Standard POS procedures
- Ability to maintain a variety of logs, records and reports related to the assigned functions
- Proven success in training others in the proper use of store equipment, tools and materiels
- Be able to work irregular shifts, including, weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
- Retail: Can accurately utilize the cash register or point of sale computer; has a thorough knowledge of the products sold and what they are used for; encourages customers to purchase additional items; ensures retail items are neatly stocked at all times if necessary.
- Wash and Fold: Provides a consistent, quality product to the customer; accurately and always utilizes log books; knows how to choose the right equipment for the amount of clothing; addresses customer concerns as best as possible; informs supervisor of any customer complaints or claims.
- Maintain professional conduct
- Display a positive attitude and adhere to dress code policy at all times during work shifts
- Enforce dress code policy to employees
